## How to use the circuit timer

1. **Pick a preset** or type your own work, rest and round times.
2. **List your exercises**, one per line. The timer shows each one by name and tells you what's coming next. Leave the list empty to use it as a simple interval timer.
3. **Press Start.** You get a 10-second countdown to get into position.
4. **Follow the sounds.** You hear a cue when each exercise starts, when rest starts, and a three-second countdown before every change.

Your settings are saved in this browser, so the timer is ready next time you open the page. Press the space bar to start and pause on a computer, and use **Full screen** to see it from across the room.

## What makes it a good circuit timer

- **Named exercises.** You see "Push-ups, next: Lunges" instead of "Interval 7 of 15".
- **Rest between rounds.** Set a longer break after the last exercise of each round.
- **Sound cues** for go, rest and the final three seconds, so you never need to look at the screen.
- **Keeps your screen awake** while it runs, on browsers that support it.
- **Stays accurate** if you switch tabs or your phone dims the screen for a moment.
- **Free, with no account and no ads in the way.**
